Day 2 - the drive continues

Drove through the night. So far we’ve been through Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, and finally Colorado. That’s 8 states in less than 2 days. We’ve seen mountains and plains. Cows and crops. And some pretty huge wind turbines and oil derricks.

Stopped in Missouri for lunch at an old gas station converted into a rib joint - KC Baby Back Ribs. Tons of good food.

With 5 hours to go, we got a flat in Kansas and had to turn back 25 miles to the nearest town. Luckily the shop stayed open for us so we could get back on the road. Not what we were hoping, but we did get to see some Buffalo due to our little detour. There were even some calves only 2 months old.

11:25pm MT/1:25am ET - Finally made it to our cousins’ house in Morrison, CO. Time for a good nights sleep to get ready for more adventures tomorrow.
