After an amazing nights sleep, we were up and out to see what Morrison, CO had to offer. First stop, Dinosaur Ridge. We walked the 2-mile path to see the various fossils and amazing dino tracks along the way. We took a little side path to hike up to the top of the ridge where we stopped for a snack and a bit of a break.
Next was a stop at Tap on the Rocks for lunch. We were HUNGRY and the food was great.
Rested at cousin Zac’s house for an hour or so, then headed to Lair o’ the Bear for a little hike and dip in the creek. We saw a momma duck and her 9 babies. She was teaching them to swim upstream. One little guy had a hard time getting through some fast waters. Jeff had to jump in and give him a little assist (He scooped him up and tossed him). Little guy swam up to mom and all was well.
Back to Zac and Christina’s for dinner and off to bed. What a great day and man, are putting in the miles!
